About

Lee Ali
Lee Ali (born Aaron Starks) is a Midwest-raised, Southern-rooted recording artist and live performer whose music blends country storytelling, soulful emotion, and hip-hop drive into a high-energy, crowd-connected experience. Born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, Lee Ali's sound reflects both grit and growth — music shaped by real life, resilience, and purpose.
Lee Ali's journey began deep in the Kentucky underground, touring alongside Bukshot, a regional underground legend, and helping define a lane often described as mob-style music: independent, anthemic records built for momentum, live rooms, and lived experience. That era produced fan-favorite tracks such as "I Did It for the Mob" and "History," establishing Lee Ali as a road-tested performer long before broader recognition.
Over the years, Lee Ali has shared stages with nationally recognized artists including Tech N9ne, Twista, Jelly Roll, Master P, E-40, Nappy Roots, and Murphy Lee — experiences that sharpened his versatility and confirmed what audiences immediately feel: Lee Ali can move seamlessly between high-energy anthems and message-driven records while maintaining a strong connection to the crowd. Along the way, he has also collaborated closely with independent artists and producers such as Lex Paige and Axl Rich, helping cultivate creative spaces rooted in authenticity and growth.
His catalog reflects range and evolution, spanning country-forward records, hip-hop foundations, and even EDM-inspired projects — always grounded in intention rather than trend. In 2023, his song "Change the World" gained viral traction online, introducing Lee Ali's music to new listeners internationally and reinforcing his ability to connect across borders. His work has also appeared in notable media placements, including the track "The One," further expanding his artistic footprint.
